NFC Bamboo Coaster

5mm thick bamboo block coasters, manufactured in the UK from sustainable Moso® bamboo in warm caramel tones. Fitted with NFC technology (Near Field Communication) that allows two devices to talk to each other when close together. This combination creates a powerful marketing tool as the URL is stored and will always direct users to it for the life of the product. The contents of the NFC are locked and can be updated as required by the end user. Laser cut in two standard sizes of 92mm round or square and printed in full colour process print or laser engraving.

Moso® Bamboo material only comes from licensed managed forests and once harvested every 5 years is made in production facilities that are ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 environmental third party certified. It complies with the most stringent international material standards. Moso® bamboo combines all of the virtues of hardwoods with the immense growing capacity of the highly renewable giant Moso® bamboo species and can therefore act as a green carbon negative alternative material where no additional water or pesticides are needed. Bamboo material simply biodegrades at end of life. 1p from every item made from sustainable materials will go towards our tree planting scheme. Every item made will help us plant 20k trees every year.

Bamboo is soft enough to get a beautiful deep engraving while hard enough not to burn and char. It has great ink adhesion for printing, with little or no colour change on process print.
